I am a Robotics Engineer, currently working at MIT, with the PR2 robot from Willow Garage. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2009, where I worked on mapping and perception for indoor mobile robots. I also have a background in Electrical Engineering, Physics and Computer Science, so I dabble in a bit of everything. I am a roboticist by trade and hobby, so I basically think about robots
all day long. You can find out more about my research

I'm also started a project to put together a really cheap intro platform for robotics. It is called Bilibot
from 'bilig', the German word for cheap. The idea is to put have ROS
installed on a cheap netbook, and attach that to a Roomba/Create with a Kinect on top. For ~$1000, you'll have a robotics platform that rivals what researchers at major universities are using!
